So this past week I spent in Las Vegas for my birthday (21), and I realized how annoyingly expensive everything was. I also saw how if you have money you get way better treatment, and stuff in general, but all of the rich people always acted like buttholes.
The way I see it is that no matter how you look, or how old you look, people shouldn't judge you by that, because you never know who is going to have the money. Im not saying I am a millionaire, but if I am going into a store, restaurant, whatever, I might get something. Therefore I should be treated great because I might come back to you, just because you, for that moment made me feel special.
A lot of people go shopping for the comfort of getting new stuff, and because a stranger made them feel good for that small amount of time they were in that store or restaurant.
Especially in a restaurant, I do not care what the suggested percentage tip is, if you didn't give me good service, WHY should I waste my money on BAD service?, this makes no sense, tips are meant to be given to people when they gave you a good service and were nice to you, not because its the right fucking thing to do!!!!!!! TIPS AREN'T A REQUIREMENT!! (I especially personally feel this way about manicure/pedicures, they always have an attitude and always ask for their tip at the end, now I tell them when they were rude or gave be bad service.) If you have the attitude of "why should I waste my time with you, I dont even know/care about you but still give me my tip" then I (costumer) will get defensive and wont want to waste my money with you, ESPECIALLY when I don't even have that much!!!
So that being said if you are a server be nice, and if you are a costumer be nice. Treat people like you want to be treated.
Like I learned from The Beverly Hills Playhouse " Attitude Monitors Talent", but I think this goes for anything.
If you want to be treated special, treat those around you special.
Lastly, Smile, it makes a big difference. Even if you are in a bad mood, if you smile you'll start to feel better because your body thinks that its time to be happy.
